5 YEARS TRAINING IN GREECE
Since his very first visit to Greece in 2013, Mark has been invited back every year since to deliver his world renowned shave workshops and training courses.
In 2017 he was invited to Greece's largest hair and beauty show as a guest judge and 2018 their largest Barber show as their International Speaker and Educator.
FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE
Mark was invited to Moscow's innovative hair and beauty training academy back in 2016 to deliver his world renowned wet shave workshops with a mix of hair and beauty professionals attending his week long courses. The 2 week trip also saw the launch of the Shavedoctor products at the coolest department store in Moscow Firmato & Scontato, including a visit to the famous GUM store.
DUTCH DUO FLY OVER TO TRAIN WITH MARK.
Instead of spending a few days living from a suitcase and ordering room service, Mark was proud to have welcomed 2 Dutch barbers to the academy. Owners of an exclusive men's grooming salon in the Netherlands that can now offer high quality shaving services and treatments for the clients.
FIRST TV APPEARANCE
We were delighted to hear from the producer's of Scotland's most watched light entertainment programme, (2.6 million viewers) 'The Hour' who wanted Mark as their guest to talk everything male grooming.
Co-presenter Stephen Jardine was shaved live by Mark on the popular teatime show..with Mark admitting he was extremely nervous..
MTV SHOW COME CALLING.
in 2015 MTV launched a brand new show called 'Beauty School Cop Out', based around 10 wannabe's (including Goggle Box and Queen of the Jungle star, Scarlett) looking for a career in the hair, health and beauty industry.
Mark was asked to be their male grooming expert and give the contestants a flavour of of professional shaving...
CHARITY SHAVE EVENT WITH DERBY COUNTY FC
Proud to have supported Derby County Football Club with their 'Teen Pride' charity where we spent a full day shaving players, management and the then owners, raising over £60,000 in the process....Mark got to shave star players, Robbie Savage, Kris Commons and then Manager Nigel Clough...later featured on Sky Sports News..
THE LAUNCH OF SHAVEUCATION
We were delighted to have launched our first ShaveUcation programme at Oakham school in Northamptonshire. This workshop for boys aged 13-16 teaches them how to shave properly for the first time, avoiding shaving irritation and razor burn whilst also teaching them fundamental skills of how to look after their skin and much more...
THE START OF OUR LONDON PARTNERSHIP
In 2009 we received a call from Bharat Parmer the owner of London based Genco, a high end male grooming salon/barbershop asking Mark to train his sylist's at the stylish Chiswick establishment. What we didn't then know is that this would result in Mark running a number of his shaving courses from here and still do to this day. MTV LAUNCH PARTY
Having completed filming for the MTV show 'Beauty School Cop Out' it was to London to the launch party of the new show. The production company had hired an exclusive Soho club where we entertained the stars of the show, press and media. We had some great fun with cream filled condoms and open blade razors.....
